I approach therapy from a Rogerian, humanistic perspective and want to forge a genuine therapeutic relationship with each person who calls or comes through the door. I believe that you are your own best expert and I want to work alongside you, creating goals and an experience that you will find helpful and effective in your growth. I aim to guide clients to grow through connection, self exploration, and awareness – as well as encouraging periodic steps out of their comfort zone to challenge themselves. With empathy and curiosity, I help clients explore what is causing suffering, stress, and distress while holding compassionate space.
I received a Master of Social Welfare from UCLA and am licensed in both California and Oregon. I have worked and trained in community mental health clinics, psychiatric hospitals, hospice, and eating disorder treatment centers. I specialize in individual psychodynamic and evidenced based therapy for adults, including eating disorder treatment. My clinical training has been trauma-informed and has centered around relational, emotion focused, and cognitive (CBT, DBT) therapies. In addition, I have experience and training in Body Trust, Intuitive Eating, Heath at Every Size, Mindfulness/Meditation, and The Gottman Method.
I am passionate about working with the gender expansive community and LGBTQAP* folx,.

The name Wild Goose Therapy & Coaching comes from a nod to Mary Oliver's poem "Wild Geese."
"...[w]hoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting -
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things."
